One Word 365: Health-Week 5

My One Word 365 for 2012 is Health. To help me stay focused on taking better care of body, mind, and spirit, I am completing a daily health-themed photo project. Please enjoy these photos from Week 5!

Sunday:

We use our steam mop to avoid harmful chemicals found in traditional floor cleaning products.

Monday:

Cloth pads from Mimi's Dreams and the Diva Cup are healthier for my body and for the planet.

Tuesday:

My favorite way to start the day: a fruit plate to snack on while I prepare breakfast and throughout the day!

Wednesday:

Are you sick of smoothies yet? I'm not! This one was made with a banana, fresh strawberries, chocolate soy milk, greek yogurt, coconut oil, and ground flax seed. It was delicious!

Thursday:

There have been a lot of yucky viruses going around. Emergen-C helps boost my immune system and keep me well enough to care for those around me who aren't so lucky.

Friday:

A dish to pass. I made a light and refreshing pasta salad with bell peppers, artichokes, and black olives for a gathering with co-workers.

Saturday:

We took advantage of the unusually beautiful winter weather to get some fresh air and exercise on a nice walk with Auntie Nay-Nay.

Have a happy and healthy week!

  1. What a great idea to give yourself accountability! It looks like you're doing great, too! Maybe I'd eat healthier if I just posted a pic of everything I ate... but I don't think there's interest there anyway. lol
