One Word 365: Health-Week 1

My One Word 365 for 2012 is Health. To help me stay focused on taking better care of body, mind, and spirit, I am completing a daily health-themed photo project. Please enjoy these photos from Week 1!

Sunday:


I kicked off Week 1 by writing a "mini health goal" for each day of the week. I plan to make this part of my weekly routine to keep me on track with small and manageable goals for each day.

Monday:


Water! Adequate hydration is the cornerstone of a healthy body.

Tuesday:


Busy days at work often mean poor eating choices on the run. I planned ahead by packing lots of fresh fruits and veggies to snack on throughout the day.

Wednesday:


Reading that nurtures the heart and soul.

Thursday:


Thanks to its many health benefits, coconut oil is our cooking oil of choice.

Friday:


Despite my commitment to health, I fell prey to a bug that's been going around. My attempts at rest and relaxation to help recuperate were a bit thwarted by a 2 year old who doesn't quite grasp why anyone would want to lay around and watch a boring screen!

Saturday:


Tea! 'Nuff said. ;)
